Our mission is to improve Indigenous people's and communities' well-being and reduce the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. We are different from other organisations because we focus on adaptation to climate change, we will partner with communities to ensure our programs are effective, and we will include culture throughout all our programs.
We believe adaptation is essential for Indigenous peoples because of the disproportionate impact climate change has on our communities. However, we also know that effective adaptation requires community involvement and a deep understanding of culture. Our programs are designed to meet the needs of each community, which is why we work closely with you to ensure cultural relevance and success.
We know that Indigenous peoples have thousands of years of knowledge in adapting to climate change. We also know that we must work together to create a sustainable future for all.
